Just sharing our photos from our outing last night at Bde Maka Ska. It was just above 20 degrees with a gusty wind sent from Canada, so Kenobi was dancing around a bit, and we could only be out a short time. Even with his most-tolerated blue buffer jacket, the wind was tearing at our faces and other bits.
I had issues with capturing what I saw with my eyes. I hate that–I need to learn more about cameras and photography. Finally, I was able to get the orange hue of the moon hanging over the Minneapolis skyline, but it was after quite a few bright white lights and grey moons.
Please comment and share information that will help me learn. I work well with helpful feedback. I am annoyed that my camera automatically lightens dark pictures and washes out the color and, many times, the interest. Yes, I was photographing the moon, and this is it, no doubt, but it is not the glowing orange spectacular that I saw with my own two eyes.
Don’t get me wrong, I like these photos. They just lack . . . the vibrancy that was there. What camera, what skills do I need?
