And the Fog Rolled In

Thursday night, this fog filled the bay. I like fog–great ambiance. Does anyone else remember the old, black-and-white movies where foggy scenes embraced human communication wrapped in overcoats? There is something about fog.  Not all that good for taking a variety of picture, unfortunately. Perhaps if the sun had been cooperating . . .

This is the first time I’ve been able to try my Sigma 150-600mm 5-6.3 Contemporary DG OS HSM Lens for NIKON DSLR Cameras w/Advanced Photo and Travel Bundle. It is heavy, and I need to take it into Wirth Park with a tripod and really try it out with photographing birds, flowers, and the smaller creatures I like so much, but it was fun to play with in the fog and sun streaming through the clouds. I am excited about it. Chose the Sigma over the Nikon after reading reviews, viewing, and comparing again and again. It really came down to all of the advantages it had over the Nikon and the price for my experience.
