On a longer walk today, Kenobi and I had to stop every once in a while so he could cool down. That leftover snow really does come in handy.
It took us longer than usual to get to the Bass Lake Preserve, but I was lucky enough to capture this lovely creature:
This is an albino squirrel–not a white squirrel. How special! Kenobi saw it first, of course, and I wondered if we just saw it now that the snow is melting.
We saw a crane, Blue Jays, Cardinals, and our usual neighbors: ducks and geese. No eagle today. But we were able to capture the first photo of turtles.
It’s wonderful that it feels like spring–clear, sunny skies bring all of our favorite song birds, raptors, and other creatures out.
Until tomorrow!
Whoa! That is sooo cool!
