Trip to the Vet

We walked to the vet today in order to get vaccinated against Lyme Disease. Kenobi received a load of shots, poor boy. I received a long run-down on all of the diseases ticks can cause, how to recognize them, and what it takes to cure them. She made careful mention of the diseases I can get including Leptospirosis. It all sounds pretty bad, so we’ll most definitely get his second booster within two to three weeks, and I’ve added tick repellant to the list of items to purchase. The coolest thing about this vet? She’s a hiker and gave us advice on where to go. She’s more serious, but it’s only a matter of time before we’re roaming the thickest woods.
