Countdown to the North Shore: Let the Road Trip Shenanigans Begin!

One week, people! Just one more week until we pile into the car, crank up the road trip playlist, and point the compass north toward one of our favorite spots—The North Shore. Can you smell the pine trees and lake air already? Because I swear I can.

First up, we’re breaking the drive with a cozy stopover in Eau Claire. Gotta ease into the adventure, right? Nothing like stretching your legs and grabbing a bite in a cute little town to kick things off.

Then comes the real magic: we’re turning that 4–5 hour cruise up the Shore into a choose-your-own-adventure day. We’re talking impromptu trail stops, mini hikes, and as many scenic pullovers as it takes to fill up my camera roll and soul.

The grand finale before we crash at the cabin? Dinner at The Fisherman’s Daughter—aka our traditional first bite of the North Shore. Fresh fish, big smiles, and that unmistakable “ahhh, we made it” feeling.
